we
want

make
sure

that
the
show
is
about
having
fun

meeting

favorite
artists,
designers,
manufacturers
and
vendors.

When
is
the
Show?
DesignerCon
2010
is
one
day
this
year
which
is
Saturday,
November
20th,
2010.
The
show's
doors
open
10am
and
the
show
ends
at
5:30pm.

Why
was
the
Show
Name
Changed
from
Vinyl
Toy
Network
to
DesignerCon?
As
the
show
has
grown
we
started
to
realize
that
the
art
behind
the
whole
vinyl
toy
movement
and
the
elements
that
helped
put
together
the
VTN
are
out
of
the
"vinyl
toy"
scope.
Frankly
the
name
was
too
restrictive
and
people
felt
that
the
show
only
dealt
with
vinyl
toys;
this
is
not
the
fact.
Vendors
of
the
show
not
only
include
companies
involved
in
vinyl
toys.
We
have
amazing
clothing
companies,
art
and
printing
companies
and
other
types
of
companies
that
all
have
their
fair
share
in
the
artistic
and
designer
aspect
of
this
show.

The
Show
is
Bigger?
What
Does
That
Mean?
Through
the
years
the
show
has
grown
and
this
year
is
no
different.
The
show
is
moving
up
from
the
small
rooms
and
halls
of
the
Pasadena
Center
to
the
large
25,000
sq.
ft.
Pavilion
that
Pasadena
has
to
offer.
This
huge
hall
allows
us
to
not
just
increase
the
number
of
vendors
but
more
importantly
increase
the
number
of
events
happening
inside
the
hall.
This
years
events
will
include
Live
Artists
Painting,
Live
Modeling
by
Dr.
Sketchys,
a
Custom
Art
Show
brought
to
us
by
AdFunture
and
much
much
more.

How
Much
to
Get
Into
the
Show?
Admission
this
year,
just
like
the
previous
year,
is
$5
while
children
12
and
under
get
in
for
free.
The
show
also
will
allow
free
entry
after
3pm. |

Is
there
a
Goodie
Bag
this
Year?
Yes!
As
always
the
goodie
bags
are
limited
and
do
cost
$5.
These
bags
are
made
to
support
the
show
and
all
the
money
collected
from
selling
the
bags
goes
back
into
making
the
show
better.
All
the
items
in
the
bags
are
donated
to
us
by
our
sponsors
and
collectively
the
bags
are
worth
much
more
than
$5.
These
are
optional
to
purchase
but
we
hope
that
you
support
us
by
buying

Yes!
Most
vendors
will
tell
us
what
the
exclusives
will
be
and
we
list
them
on
the
Exclusives
page
of
the
site
BUT
sometimes
vendors
will
keep
an
exclusive
as
a
surprise
until
attendees
get
to
the
show.
